Gold River, CA – Synergex International Corporation, specialists in cross-platform application development tools, enterprise application integration, and legacy modernization, announced the promotion of Tim Bauguess to Director of Software Development.   

Bauguess will oversee Synergex’s software development functions, which include managing the design, development, documentation, and testing of new and existing software and ensuring that products meet Synergex’s standards of quality and performance.  

“Tim has demonstrated tremendous leadership, initiative, technical acumen, and strategic thinking, while regularly setting and meeting or exceeding goals and expectations. His professional experience along with his DevOps, Azure, Agile/Scrum, and architecture expertise make him ideally suited for this new position,” said Rosanne Brill, Vice President of Software Development. “I’m excited to see him continue to grow in this new leadership position and am eager to see where he takes the department in the coming years!”  

Bauguess joined Synergex in 2017 as a software test engineer and programmer on the Quality Assurance team before moving to Synergex’s Information Systems (IS) team and spearheading a move to DevOps processes. He left Synergex temporarily to work elsewhere as a software engineer and then a senior software engineer, specializing in .NET, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure. He subsequently managed a .NET development team responsible for designing products and providing services for custom integrations around project control systems. In 2022, Bauguess returned to Synergex as Software Development Manager. Since rejoining the team, Bauguess has made notable process improvements to both the IS and Synergy DBL Integration for Visual Studio (SDI) teams. He has managed the development of many SDI releases—delivering many important SDI features and focusing on improving the Synergy development experience—as well as taken on cross-team IT-related initiatives, all of which contribute to Synergex’s ongoing success.
