William Mooney

As president and CEO of Synergex International Corporation, Bill provides strategy and direction in all functional areas of the company, including our flagship product suite, Synergy/DE, which has evolved over the past 30 years from a cross-platform business language to an extensive suite of object-oriented development tools that rivals any popular toolset today, and also KitaroDB, a version of Synergy/DE’s powerful database system offered to Visual Studio developers. Bill has built close partner relationships with a large number of our customers in a wide range of industries and has guided them to reduce their software investment, increase profitability, and succeed in varied market conditions.

Bill is a member of the Synergex Board of Directors. He was selected for Leadership Sacramento, where he worked to improve business and the regional community. He has also honed his skills at the Stanford Executive Institute for high-tech management. Outside of the technology realm, you’ll find Bill leading the charge through the rapids in whitewater expeditions or creating visually compelling photos of his family and life adventures.

Don Fillion

Don has more than 20 years of management experience in delivering technology solutions to businesses of all sizes. He joined Synergex in 2007 as a Senior Consultant in the Professional Services Group (PSG). He was promoted in 2009 to direct our Professional Services team, and in 2016 to Vice President. Before joining Synergex, Don was Vice President of East Coast Operations for AFS Technologies, where he was responsible for the technical operations of a vertical market software division. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and CTO of Distribution Management Systems. Don holds a BA in Economics with a Computer Science concentration from Boston College, where he was a Scholar of the College, and an MBA with a minor in Logistics from the University of New Haven, where he was named a graduate fellow.

Jeff Greene

Jeff joined Synergex in 2006, bringing his passion for open-source and standards-based technologies with him. His first contribution to our product suite was Synergy DBL Integration for Visual Studio. Over the years, Jeff has provided in-depth technical expertise in web services and all things .NET, culminating in the open-source Harmony Core project, which helps customers modernize their offerings while leveraging existing investments. Responsible for the technical direction at Synergex, Jeff works to ensure Synergy-based software stays competitive in a rapidly changing technical landscape. Outside of Synergex, Jeff is a World Championship division head referee for FIRST Tech Challenge, a robotics league for students in grades 7-12.

Roger Andrews

Roger drives and manages our corporate and product technology direction. He has assisted the company’s software development team with planning, design, and implementation since 1998. From 2002 through 2005, he served as Synergy/DE architect, focusing on Synergex’s Microsoft .NET initiative. Prior to that, he served as Professional Services Manager, directing the company’s consulting and education services. Before coming to Synergex, Roger was Vice President of Consulting and Services at CCAT (now Phoenix), a large ISV based in the United Kingdom.

Rosanne Brill

Since joining Synergex in 1990, Rosanne has successfully managed numerous development projects, resulting in the delivery of new product versions every 12-18 months. Responsible for all Synergy/DE product development projects and resources, Rosanne directs a technical staff of developers, test engineers, and writers. Prior to coming to Synergex, Rosanne had six years of product development experience at System Integrators, Inc., most of which were spent as product manager.

Gabrielle Iannarelli

Gabi joined the company in 2015 to fill the role of Director of Marketing and was promoted to Vice President in 2021. Gabi has over fifteen years of marketing experience with a strong background in the software industry. Gabi earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing at Juniata College in Pennsylvania and her MBA in sustainable enterprise at Dominican University of California. Gabi collaborates with leadership across the organization to facilitate company culture and ensure alignment with core values.

Kevin Gaches

Kevin has over 10 years of accounting and finance experience in various multi-entity businesses within the services, banking, and manufacturing industries, focusing on insights into business trends and accounting process automation. A member of the Synergex team since 2016, he holds a BS in finance and corporate management from California State University, Easy Bay. In addition to ensuring the financial well-being of the company, Kevin works with senior Synergex management on strategic financial and capital resource planning by providing functional data models and trend analysis.

Rachel Gibson

Rachel joined Synergex in 2018 as an account manager after relocating to Sacramento from Boston. She started her sales career in the EdTech space at Pearson Education, later transitioning into SaaS sales at LogMeIn. In 2020, Rachel was promoted to Sales Manager, where she worked closely with the Sales team to promote Synergex products and services. As Director of Sales and Product Marketing, Rachel continues to serve as the voice of the customer while overseeing the Sales and Customer Service teams. Additionally, she focuses on refining our product and service offerings alongside the Development and Professional Services teams, with an eye towards effectively marketing Synergex solutions to customers. Rachel holds a BA from Wellesley College.

Daniela Calvitti

Daniela brings more than 20 years of experience covering all aspects of financial operations for high growth technology-based companies, including financial controls and procedures, financial reporting for internal and outside investor purposes, corporate streamlining and re-structuring to achieve profitability and compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. She holds a BS in finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. Daniela is treasurer of the East Sacramento Rotary club and is actively involved in improving education for inner-city youths. She also is a member of the Finance and Risk Committee of the Central Valley Farmland Trust, whose purpose is the protection of farmland in the San Joaquin Central Valley.

A widely respected member of the computer software community, Ken has earned recognition based on his extensive computer language knowledge, experience, and skills. During his 50 years in the software industry, Ken has presided over Synergex from its beginnings as a DEC reseller to its current position of creator and distributor of Synergy/DE, a multi-platform suite of development tools with users around the world.

Michele Wong

A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Michele was with Synergex for 35 years, beginning in 1982 as a systems programmer and rapidly progressing through the positions of project leader and vice president of software development. She was promoted to executive vice president in late 1984, became president in November 1990, and was named CEO in December 1996. She retired from her role as CEO in August 2017. Michele is currently the president and CEO of CleanWorld, a national leader working to research, design, and build renewable energy systems that convert food and green waste to biogas and agricultural products. She has been named one of the “Best and Brightest in Sacramento” by Sacramento Magazine, and her executive experience includes positions on the boards of the KVIE Public Television, the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA), and the University of California, Davis External Research Advisory Board.

Tom Dykstra

Currently a senior consultant at Cayenne Consulting, a full-service solutions provider for emerging businesses, focusing on business plan consulting and financial modeling, Tom also owns Compass Point Consulting, which specializes in line-of-business strategy execution and critical decision support. Tom is the co-founder of two ERP software companies: Effective Management Systems—ERP, for discrete manufacturers, and EMS Solutions—ERP, for automatic merchandising companies. As an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University, Tom teaches graduate and undergraduate business courses. He has a BA in Mathematics from Hope College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Fellow of the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
