To build a distributed computing system with xfNetLink Java and xfServerPlus, you’ll need the following in addition to xfNetLink and xfServerPlus.
- JDK™ (Java Development Kit) version 1.5 or higher, available free from www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index.html. See the release notes (REL_XFNJ.TXT) for more information.
- (optional) Java development environment, such as Eclipse or NetBeans
- Web server and JSP/Servlet container if you plan to develop a web application
