Composer
Synergy/DE Composer is UI Toolkit's visual user interface designer for Windows environments. It provides a WYSIWYG way to create and modify window script files, enabling you to
- interactively design windows, including input windows
- save your UI design to a script file
- modify existing script files
- compile window scripts in a window library
Starting Composer
To start Composer, do one of the following:
- At a Windows command prompt, enter
dbr SYNBIN:composer
If you are not in the directory that contains dbr.exe, DBLDIR\bin must be in your path. Likewise, the SYNBIN environment variable must be in your path, and it must be set to the directory in which Composer is installed.
- From the Workbench toolbar, select Synergy/DE > Composer.
- In Visual Studio, select Tools > Synergy Composer from the Visual Studio menu. The Composer menu entry is available only if Synergy DBL Integration for Visual Studio (SDI) has been installed and a traditional Synergy project is open in Visual Studio.
