ENABLE_LTTNG

Control LTTng tracing

USupported on Unix

The ENABLE_LTTNG environment allows you to enable or disable tracing with LTTng (64-bit Linux only).

0 = Disable tracing, even if LTTng is active.

1 = Enable tracing if LTTng is installed and a session is active. (default)

2 = Enable tracing if LTTng is installed and a session is active, and enable a message when attempting to load libsynergyde-tp.so.

You can use LTTng tracing with Synergy programs on 64-bit Linux without explicitly enabling it. But if you want to explicitly prevent tracing in Synergy programs, you can set ENABLE_LTTNG to 0. Alternatively, if you are trying to use LTTng but aren't sure if it's working, you can troubleshoot by setting ENABLE_LTTNG to 2. This will cause the runtime to display a message when attempting to load the libsynergyde-tp.so library and its dependencies, indicating whether or not it was successful.
