Deleted record

The record you are attempting to access with an RFA has been deleted or moved. (For more information, see Static RFAs.)

On OpenVMS, this error also occurs when a READS follows a FIND (with lock) and a DELETE on the same channel: the READS attempts to retrieve the record positioned to by the FIND, and that record has just been deleted. To delete a record and continue reading, use READ instead of FIND to position to and lock the record before the DELETE.
