Synergy DBL integration with Visual Studio 2015 gives Synergy developers access to the newest Visual Studio features
Sacramento, CA – August 12, 2015 – Synergex International Corp., provider of business software development solutions worldwide and a Microsoft Visual Studio Industry Partner (VSIP), has released a new Synergy/DE version (10.3.1b) to coincide with Microsoft’s release of Visual Studio 2015.
Synergy/DE is built around Synergy DBL, a flexible, object-oriented, DIBOL-based business language that runs in multiple environments. Seamless integration with Visual Studio enables developers of Synergy/DE-based applications to take advantage of the powerful Visual Studio IDE and its extensive ecosystem. Synergy/DE’s support for Visual Studio 2015 will give Synergy developers immediate access to the latest Visual Studio features.
In addition to Synergy DBL, the Synergy/DE product suite provides a variety of development tools that enable companies to create cross-platform, feature-rich enterprise applications, including a fast, scalable database system; tools for efficiently accessing Synergy and third-party data; and the ability to more securely distribute data and logic across multiple platforms.
Synergy/DE 10.3.1b leverages Microsoft’s new C++ Android development tools to enable portable Android runtime components and allows developers to take advantage of many of the new features in Visual Studio 2015, such as the new Concord debugger engine, light bulbs, task list features, and initial support for Universal Windows Platform (UWP).
“Our relationship with Microsoft enables us to port our development processes and products to new platforms and technologies,” states Synergex CTO Roger Andrews. “As a result, our customers can continue to leverage the extensive investment they’ve made in their code while migrating to the latest technologies.”
“Visual Studio 2015 provides developers and businesses with a wealth of new productive features to help them build applications more efficiently,” said Mitra Azizirad, General Manager, Developer Platform Marketing, Microsoft Corp. “As a member of the VSIP program, Synergex offers their customers an opportunity to stay at the forefront of Visual Studio development.”
Visual Studio 2015 contains many new features and updates, including tools for universal Windows app development; cross-platform mobile development for iOS, Android, and Windows; portable C++ libraries; native activity C++ templates for Android; and much more.
