William Mooney

President and CEO

As president and CEO of Synergex International Corporation, Bill provides strategy and direction in all functional areas of the company, including our flagship product suite, Synergy/DE, which has evolved over the past 30 years from a cross-platform business language to an extensive suite of object-oriented development tools that rivals any popular toolset today, and also KitaroDB, a version of Synergy/DE’s powerful database system offered to Visual Studio developers. Bill has built close partner relationships with a large number of our customers in a wide range of industries and has guided them to reduce their software investment, increase profitability, and succeed in varied market conditions.

Bill is a member of the Synergex Board of Directors. He was selected for Leadership Sacramento, where he worked to improve business and the regional community. He has also honed his skills at the Stanford Executive Institute for high-tech management. Outside of the technology realm, you’ll find Bill leading the charge through the rapids in whitewater expeditions or creating visually compelling photos of his family and life adventures.


Daniela Calvitti

Chief Financial Officer

Daniela brings more than 20 years of experience covering all aspects of financial operations for high growth technology-based companies, including financial controls and procedures, financial reporting for internal and outside investor purposes, corporate streamlining and re-structuring to achieve profitability and compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. She holds a BS in finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. Daniela is treasurer of the East Sacramento Rotary club and is actively involved in improving education for inner-city youths. She also is a member of the Finance and Risk Committee of the Central Valley Farmland Trust, whose purpose is the protection of farmland in the San Joaquin Central Valley.


Terry Carlone

Chief Administrative Officer

Terry has broad experience as both an attorney and senior executive. As an attorney, he has served both in private practice and as in-house counsel, with a focus on capital formation and offerings, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, licensing and energy regulation. He practiced with Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. (where he established the firm’s D.C. office), McDonough, Holland & Allen, and Weintraub Genshlea & Sproul in Sacramento. In addition to Synergex, he also served in-house with Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., a publicly-traded multinational corporation involved in ocean shipping, agriculture (sugar and coffee) and real estate development and management. He also was a co-founder and chairman of a hydrogen fuel cell company providing clean electrical backup power for cell towers internationally; co-founder and president of a technology licensing firm focusing on university-developed inventions; co-founder and president of an international manufacturer and marketer of biomedical-based skin therapy products; and real estate development and asset manager for a company with more than 2.5 million square feet of improved retail, industrial and office space and more than 90,000 acres of unimproved land. He serves on the board of directors of Synergex Ventures, CleanWorld, NeuroPro Technologies, Inc., and NutraGenomics. Terry received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from Georgetown University. He has been involved in the community through work with various non-profit organizations.


Roger Andrews

CTO and Synergy/DE Architect

Roger drives and manages our corporate and product technology direction. He has assisted the company’s software development team with planning, design, and implementation since 1998. From 2002 through 2005, he served as Synergy/DE architect, focusing on Synergex’s Microsoft .NET initiative. Prior to that, he served as Professional Services Manager, directing the company’s consulting and education services. Before coming to Synergex, Roger was Vice President of Consulting and Services at CCAT (now Phoenix), a large ISV based in the United Kingdom.


Rosanne Brill

Vice President of Software Development

Since joining Synergex in 1990, Rosanne has successfully managed numerous development projects, resulting in the delivery of new product versions every 12-18 months. Responsible for all Synergy/DE product development projects and resources, Rosanne directs a technical staff of developers, test engineers, and writers. Prior to coming to Synergex, Rosanne had six years of product development experience at System Integrators, Inc., most of which were spent as product manager.


Don Fillion

Vice President of Professional Services

Don has more than 20 years of management experience in delivering technology solutions to businesses of all sizes. He joined Synergex in 2007 as a Senior Consultant in the Professional Services Group (PSG). He was promoted in 2009 to direct our Professional Services team, and in 2016 to Vice President. Before joining Synergex, Don was Vice President of East Coast Operations for AFS Technologies, where he was responsible for the technical operations of a vertical market software division. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and CTO of Distribution Management Systems. Don holds a BA in Economics with a Computer Science concentration from Boston College, where he was a Scholar of the College, and an MBA with a minor in Logistics from the University of New Haven, where he was named a graduate fellow.
