Arnold Schwarzenegger's After School California
Synergex has joined with Arnold Schwarzenegger to promote safe, fun, and educational after-school programs to help our children stay in school and out of trouble. After voter-approved state funding failed to materialize during a budget crisis, Arnold turned to corporations such as Synergex to help this worthwhile project become a reality. After School California kicked off with a pre-release showing of Terminator III in San Francisco. For more information, please visit joinarnold.com.
Community Action Program (CAP)
As corporate citizens, Synergex and its employees are committed to participating in charitable, community, and educational programs by investing time, talent, and financial support.
Recently, we realized that we could expand the scope
of our individual and company contributions with the
support of an organized corporate sponsorship program.
Employees from every department volunteered their time
and creativity to develop a comprehensive plan that
would offer a wide variety of participation levels
and opportunities for all employees. The Synergex Community
Action Program was formed out of a sense of community
and corporate responsibility and because—as individuals
and as a company—we share a strong belief in the
obligations we owe our society.
The CAP offers Synergex employees three ways to participate: Corporate-wide Events, Corporate Grants, and the Employee Contribution Matching Fund. Each of these plans represents a different method in which Synergex employees can get involved and contribute to non-profit, charitable organizations. Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Sacramento
Light The Night is a fundraising event
that carries a sense of magic and purpose
like no other. A parade of flickering
red and white balloons will wind its
way on a two- to three-mile walk around
the State Capitol to celebrate and commemorate
lives touched by cancer. Funds raised
will support the Society's mission to
cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease,
and myeloma, and to improve the quality
of life for patients and their families.
Dedication banners will be displayed
to give everyone an opportunity to leave
a name or post a message in honor or
memory of a family member or friend with
cancer. For more information, please visit www.lls.org/
