| Ellwood has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He worked for the first several years with business owners in commercial lending and for the last 17 in investments and insurance. Ellwood specializes in working with the owners of privately held businesses, addressing planning issues that are unique to them: investment, retirement, estate, exit and succession. While working in these areas, Ellwood helps clients develop a complete personal financial plan focusing on the business owner’s personal needs and goals. Ellwood has been cited in several local and national publications and has spoken to many associations on topics related to owners of privately held businesses.
